Schools & groups
The Etna Museum offers tours and workshops for groups and schools, with the sponsorship of the Office of the Provincial School of Catania. The themed trails are proposed both in Italian and in English by applying the most modern principles of “edutainment” that is “Educational entertainment” designed to educate as well as to entertain , with the purpose to make known the territory, and promote the respect for the environment and spread the sustainability culture.

The 3D cinema, through special glasses and the latest generation technology, offers a series of spectacular effects having a strong emotional involvement. In the second movie theatre funny movies on the volcanoes of the worl are projected.

GUIDED TOUR AT THE MUSEUM
A real “Journey to the Earth” to find out how volcanoes are formed, how and why earthquakes occur and explain the theories of the origin of the Earth, plate tectonics and continental drift. All about the scientific, cultural and historical aspects of Mount Etna.
EQUIPPED AREA
The Etna Museum is a cosy place for school children, teachers and visitors. Outiside is set a large picnic area to have a snack or have a picnic lunch.
